it's been fun to read the notes over the past few years and see where people are now. After college in So. Dakota (Pastor Bob's alma mater), spent a year in Germany, returned to Brooklyn and then moved to California, where I married, had 2 sons, and after 25 years, moved to Arkansas. Talk about culture shock! But this area is growing up, and lots of aliens (as in from other parts of the country) have moved in, pushed by WalMart having its home office here, as well as JB Hunt, Tyson, and other national companies. Have been back to Brooklyn a few times, but since mom (Hedvig Olsen) moved from the city, not much impetus to head there. And speaking of Hedvig, she is still living on her own in Whiting, NJ which was called "God's waiting room" by many. She is about to celebrate her 96th birthday on October 4th, and would really enjoy a card from any of you who remember her. Trinity was such a big part of her (and our whole family's) life. Her address is 59B Maryland Avenue, Whiting, NJ 08759 - so thanks in advance to all of you. Look forward to reading other greetings from other "old" Trinityites.

On Wednesday July 9th, 60,000 lines of (presumed) spam were removed from the guestbook's html code. This may have inadvertently eliminated a number of real entries in the guestbook. We apologize to anyone whose entry was deleted.

We were '36ers. What a legacy we had at Trinity. We wish our kids (3) had it. So many rich memories. God surely blessed us with superb leaders, bless them. Who can forget Stony Brook? Anyone remember Carlton Park? Trinity is our greatest treasure. We're just fine, now UCC Congregationalists busy with Choir still and many things. We live in Heritage Village, Southbury CT after 15 years at Cape Cod in retirement. Drop us a line. ralph@nilssen.us

Thanks for always having some fun thing in your purse to keep me occupied in the cold, hard pew during the long sermons of my early childhood. Thanks for bringing me to Sunday School. Thanks for getting me into Brownies when I wanted to go and getting me OUT of Girl Scouts when I didn't want to go. Thanks for never being late when I had to get on the bus to Koinonia - I know how hard it was for you to be on time for anything. Thanks for the piano lessons with Harold Heiberg and then Phillip Olson. Thanks for making sure I could always hear you singing in the house. Thanks for Cherub's Choir and Junior Choir. Thanks for all the Jello Squares you made for Hi League. Thanks for helping me memorize the entirety of Luther's Catechism.
Thanks for all the care packages, stuffed full of kitchen towels and Daddy's old sweaters and wool socks when I moved to Minnesota. Thanks for your endless prayers when I had gotten so lost and didn't know up from down. Thanks for taking in my little boy and potty training him and teaching him to walk and eat from a spoon when I couldn't teach him those things myself. Thanks for sending me all those pictures of him as he grew and grew. Thanks for being the tireless grandma to my little ones (now grown, one with babies of her own), through thick or thin, no matter how many miles between us.
Thanks for teaching me that like you, I am a teabag and the longer I soak in hot water, the stronger I get.
I miss you Ma. Give Daddy a hug for me, would ya'?

The website is wonderful! We pray God's blessing & peace upon Lucy Lund and Roy Pedersen's memories. They were good people.
May God continue to shower Trinity with grace and favor.
